walkways and cyclepaths around Malahide

Has anyone any information on the following?
Proposed walkway / cyclepath from Malahide to Donabate continues to be discussed with Irish Rail. Apparently discussions are underway with Irishrail and also the proposed walkway and cycle path along Cave's Marsh / Barrack Bridge. Also a very live discussion - but any sign of things moving? Would be great to get out cycling and to make the most of the Estuary....
